Conjunctions:الروابط (الكلمات التي تربط جملتين او اكثر ببعضم)

A conjunction connects words of parts of a sentence. Three of most conjunctions are : and, but, or. They combine tow ideas, but contrasts two ideas, or give a choice between two ideas.

الرابط يربط كلمات من مجموعة الكلمات الموجودة في الجملة، الثلاثة الأكثر إستعمالاً هم: و، لكن، أو. فـ or تربط جملتين ببعضهم لتعطي الفكرة نفسها، بينما but تعطيك معنى عدم المطابقة بين فكرتين، بينما or تعطيك فكرة الخيار بين فكرتين.

·              I want to go to the grocery shop.اريد ان اذهب إلى دكان البقالة

·              I want to go to the bakery.اريد ان اذهب الى الفرن

·              I want to go to the grocery shop and to the bakery.اريد الذهاب الى دكان البقالة والفرن.

Butلكن

·                    John is going to the cinema.جون ذاهب الى السينما

·                    Mary is not going to the cinema.ماري ليست ذاهبة الى السينما

·                    John is going to the cinema but Mary is not.جون ذاهب الى السينما لك ماري لا.

Orأو

·                    He asks me question.هو سألني سؤال

·                    He tells me stories.هو أخبرني قصص

·                    He asks me question or tell me stories.هو سألني سؤال أو أخبرني قصة.

·                    The pen is on the book.القلم على الكتاب

·                    They are leaving on Monday.هم راحلون يوم الأثنين

·              The ball is in box.الطابة في الصندوق

·              The box is in the room.الصندوف في الغرفة

·              The book is in my bag.الكتاب في حقيبتي

·                    I come from England.أنا أتيت من إنكلترا

·                    He is buying bread from the bakery.هو يشتري الخبز من الفرن

·                    He is going to school.هو ذاهب إلى المدرسة
