Present Continuousالفعل المضارع المستمر

The present Continuous is used for actions that began in the past and will end in the future, but is incomplete at the moment of speaking.

To form this tense we use the Present tense of verb to be followed by the present participle (verb with ing).

Present Continuous = verb to be + present participle.

الفعل المضارع المستمر يستعمل لأفعال تبدأ في الماضي وتنتهي في المستقبل ولكنها مستمرة في الوقت التي نتكلم عليها. حتى نشكل هذه الجملة نستعمل الصيغة المضارع للفعل المساعد ثم الفعل الأساسي في حالة المضارع المستمر أي الفعل المنزاد عليه ing .

Use the present continuous tense with words like now, at the moment, this week, today.نستعمل المضارع المستمرمع الكلمات مثل الآن، في هذا الوقت، هذا الأسبوع، اليوم

Present participle:المضارع المستمر

1.         For some verbs add ing: cook = cooking.بعض الأفعال نزيد  عيلها فقط ing

2.        For some verbs remove the e and add ing: bite = biting.

بعض الأفعال نحذف منها حرف e ونزيد ing

3.        For some verbs double the last letter and add ing: run = running.

بعض الأفعال نضاعف الحرف الأخير وثم نزيد عليها ing
