Help the Aged (Donated Money to Al-Resalah Al-Igtimayah Society of
Lebanon)

Pre-qualification Report to Assist Government of Lebanon 'Council for
Development and Reconstruction' with its prequalification of contractors)

(Working with Rotary Club of Aley on a
number of projects in this area).

years with organizations and NGOs in the middle east to help provide some
key benefits to people in the region.

Vocational Training Center
مركز تدريب ثقافي
Project Summary: Nostalgie Cultural Society of Edmonton received a
grant from the Wild Rose Foundation to
assist the Rawdat Al-Tahthib vocational training center (Aley, Lebanon)
support low income men and women with technical training which allows them
to improve their skills and job opportunities. The project allowed the
center to expand and accommodate additional 74 students for computer
application training. The project duration was one year from 1 May
1996 to 30 April 1997. The total project cost was $32,000 Dollars.

لمساعدة مركز روضة التهذيب لإعادة التأهيل في مدينة عاليه، لبنان لمساعدة
الرجال والنساء ذات الدخل الضعيف على إعادة التاهيل وذلك عبر تقديم الدوارت
التعليمية حتى يثبتون انفسهم في مجالات العمل التي يردون العمل فيها، كما وأنها
قدمت منح تعليمة لـ 74 طالب للتدريب على الكمبيوتر. ومدة هذا المشروع كانت لعام
من آيار 1996 وحتى نيسان 1997، وكانت إجمالي كلفة المشروع 32 الف دولار أميركي.
Rotary
Club of Aley نادي روتاري عاليه
Project Summary: Nostalgie Cultural Society of Edmonton is currently
working with Rotary Club of Aley on a number of projects that fall under the
Basic Human Needs Program of the society. Given
the well publicized economic difficulties and increasing mass of poor and
unemployed population in the Lebanon, securing food has become for many
families a daily challenge. Pride
and high self-esteem prohibit those in need in Aley District from subjecting
themselves to the humility of asking or even of complaining openly.
The members of Aley Rotary Club are witnesses to some sad examples of such
difficulties in their District.

نوستالجي تعمل حاليا مع نادي روتاري عاليه على عدد من
المشاريع التي تقع تحت عنوان برنامج الإحتياجات الإنسانية في المجتمع. مع العلم
بالوضع الإقتصادي الصعب والبطالة في لبنان والصعوبة في تأمين الغذاء لعدد كبير
من العائلات مشكلة يومية. فقد وضعوا أعضاء نادي روتاري عاليه أنفسم لخدمة
الجميع في منطقتهم.
